Biographie – Biography

     Mica Penniman (been born on August 18th, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon) says Mika, is a singer of English pop of libano-American nationality living in London. Mika is very young when his family leaves Lebanon for Paris. When he moves for London after eight years spent in France, Mika locks himself into the silence. The doctors diagnose an aphasia, which will be broken only thanks to some agreements of piano.

     At the age of 9, he confides a passion for the opera, the vocal capacity except standards oblige, his voice covering almost five octaves. At the age of 19, he enters the Royal College of Music which he leaves to dash into his solo career.

     His performances in public and his jobs varied between classic diverse things and composition of the music of pubs. His first single was called Relaxed, Take It Easy ( 2006 ) on whom we find the melody of ( I Just ) Died in Your Arms de Cutting Crew. The fate will make that it will be this single which, in February, 2007, will reach the first place of the downloads in France. February 5th, 2007 the first album of Mika: Life In Cartoon Motion, produced and mixed by Greg Wells in Los Angeles takes(brings) out and arouses comparisons with numerous artists of the 60s.

     The members of his group are Martin Waugh (guitar, singing), Michael Choi (bass, singing), Cherisse Osei ( battery) and Luke Juby (keyboard).

Why I love Mika ???

    I love Mika because his music is cheerful or mysterieuse, its well given rhythm songs take us towards the world colored with the 60s... His voice also is extremely considerable.

     I have no many of the other reasons, the music, I like and it is like that ^^ !!!
